How can I connect to my calendar?
Learn how to connect your calendar. Please ensure you have a solo inbox and are on SEDNA Pro or Enterprise plans before doing proceeding.
How can I disconnect my calendar?
Head over to the connected apps page which you can find in the sidebar, here you will find our calendar tile. If you are already connected to the calendar you will see a disconnect button which you can click on to disconnect your calendar.
Why did my calendar ask me to reconnect?
Our calendar connects to your Outlook/Gmail directly, therefore if you have recently changed your password for your email platform our authentication token needs to be renewed. What this means is that you may be asked to reconnect.
Synchronization
I connected my calendar but do not see any events?
It can take up to 24 hours to populate your calendar depending on the number of events.
Calendar action I performed in SEDNA has not appeared in my Outlook calendar yet.
Calendar changes made in SEDNA can take time to synchronize to your outlook calendar due to the synchronization process.
Actions that send emails, e.g. rsvp responses, creating an event, and updating an event, happen within a matter of seconds. So if you are RSVPing to an event, your organizer will receive your response instantly.
I am missing an event in my SEDNA calendar which is visible in my Outlook calendar.
Please raise a ticket to support if the event has been missing for more than 24 hours.
Events
How can I create an event?
Click on the + icon in the top right-hand corner of your calendar day view in order to create an event.

How or why can I not edit an event?
Only event organizers can edit an event. In order to edit an event head over to your calendar day view panel and find the event you would like to edit.
Select this event to open the calendar event details. In the top right, you should see an edit icon select this to edit the event.
Can I hide or display my declined events?
Yes. Head over to your calendar day view and select the three dots icon. This should open a little dropdown where you can see an option to hide/show your declined events. Learn more about displaying/hiding declined events
I got an email saying my calendar action failed on X event, what should I do?
Please retry the calendar action, if this fails again. Raise a ticket to support to investigate and resolve. In the meantime, if this action is critical we suggest you revert back to your calendar provider (outlook/google) to complete your action.
