What Does It Mean to Be Verified by SEDNA?
Verified by SEDNA automates the verification and validation of emails within the Sedna network. It helps improve the reliability of message delivery. Through this feature we can identify if a message originated from within SEDNA’s network.
You already know how important security is when it comes to your communications. Phishing scams, imposters, and surprise windfalls from long-lost uncles are par for the email course, with scammers only getting savvier and harder to detect.
That’s why we created a built-in email detective. As your communications hub, SEDNA’s mission is to save you time, improve workflows, and create a secure, reliable source of truth. On top of measures like verified address books, cloud security, multi-factor authentication, and shared inboxes for cross-company transparency, a Verified by SEDNA signature adds an additional layer of validation to help evaluate a message's authenticity.
Invite someone you know to join SEDNA or use SEDNA lite ensure your communications are secure and Verified by SEDNA.
How It Works
- A digital Verified by SEDNA signature is applied to all messages sent from SEDNA
- SEDNA automatically scans for and verifies this signature on incoming messages
- If the signature is determined to be valid, “Verified by SEDNA” will be displayed in the message
What It Means
When you see the Verified by SEDNA banner, you instantly know that message was sent from an authenticated SEDNA account. This helps provide more confidence that this message was sent from a trusted party. And the same applies when you’re sending an email through SEDNA: others will see the same message.
Why It’s Important
While many imposter emails are obvious, others can fly under the radar through indiscernible tactics (like switching a single letter in an email address). The more secure your communications platform, the less you should have to worry about this—let alone spend your own time and energy playing detective.
Verified by SEDNA is another tool Sedna offers to help reduce the risk of cybersecurity attacks, plus time and money spent preventing and managing them.
Logo requirements
The new Verified by Sedna feature allows you to display your company logo. The container has a maximum width of 180 pixels and 24 pixels of height (The logo itself doesn't need to take the entirety of the container). We recommend landscape-type typographic logos for best readability. Sedna will display the company's name in a text format if a logo is not provided.
