Message List and Sidebar

Inbox, Archive, Sent and All filters are available at the top of the list which makes it easy to navigate between the sections while the Saved Searches are located at the bottom for better access.

The Message List from your Default Team will be loaded first. To access the Shared Inboxes please refer to the Menu icon.

In the opened sidebar apart from the Shared Inboxes you can also load Important messages, messages that you are Following, your Live Searches or your Saved Searches.

Important Messages

By accessing the Important section you can see the Important messages first

Message Reader

See the list of messages like you would on desktop. The top bar represents key features that help you collaborate on the go: sharing the message with Inboxes, switching to the Comments section, tagging the message and accessing Attachments and Connected Apps.

The bottom bar includes the commonly used functionalities that help to streamline the process of message triaging: Following, Archiving, Replying to all.

Message Composer

The Create button is easy to locate in each section of the Mobile App, be it your Default Inbox or Important. 

All the sections (Comments, Tags, Attachments, Connected Apps) are located at the top bar for easy access.

Batch Select 

For faster triage messages you can use the Batch Select option. Find and click the Batch Select icon, select desired messages, then take an action such as Archiving, Following or adding as a link.

Search

On mobile you can search for messages based on Advanced Filters or text search, the same as on desktop. For more information please refer to Searching In Sedna.

How to perform search:

1. Choose Search at the bottom of the screen.

2. Type a search term or operator and press Search.

Swipe to Follow & Archive on Mobile

Within the Sedna Mobile App, users can Follow messages by swiping left on the message tile.

They can also Archive messages by swiping right on the message tile.

The Follow & Archive icons will respectively appear in place of the message to show the action being performed. User can undo the Swipe to Follow action by repeating the same swipe left action.

Sort Messages on Mobile

Messages can be sorted by either chronological order or priority. By default, the list is sorted by showing you the most recent messages to the oldest. 

To Sort by Time

Toggle the button (shown below) to change the order to show the oldest messages first and vice-versa.

• Newest messages at the top is indicated by this icon 

• Oldest messages at the top is indicated by this icon  

To Sort by Priority or Chronological Order

To toggle between priority and chronological order, press this icon on the upper right-hand side

• Sort by Priority will list new messages and those with new activity first.
• Sort by Chronological order will show according to received date.
