SEDNA now handles .eml attachments as attached files. An EML file is an email message saved by Microsoft Outlook or other e-mail programs. It may also contain an email attachment, which is a file sent with the message.
How it works:
Instead of merging the text into the original message, the eml attachments are now displayed within the attachments side-panel. This will make it more clear for users to find these attached files and differentiate between what is in the original message and what is supplied as additional information.
A better way to work:
Adding to the problem, there is an unfortunate habit in email of multiple replies going back and forth. In the scenario where one such message chain is appended to another chain, it becomes nearly impossible for the user to determine where the attached content begun.
With this update today, it is incredibly clear by adding EML file to attachments, people can see the original message and makes gathering multiple emails to attach to a single message easier.
