Preview Office files in Sedna

Word, Excel, and PowerPoint attachments can now open in Sedna’s own viewer. Files load faster and more reliably, without blank screens or long loading.

How to turn it on

1. Go to Settings > Display.
2. Tick Preview Office files in Sedna.

This setting is per device, so turn it on separately on desktop and mobile. You can switch it off at any time.

What you can do

• Excel: select cells to see the sum, count, and average, copy cells straight into Excel or Google Sheets, and switch between sheets. For quick checks, you won’t need to download the file.
• Zoom: zoom in and out more easily, including pinch-to-zoom on mobile.
• Separate window: attachments open in their own window that you can move around, so you can keep working on your email or compare with another document. If an email has several attachments, click through them all from that window.

Good to know

Older file formats (.doc, .xls, .ppt, from before 2007) will still open in the previous viewer.
