OrbitMI now available with SEDNA
The SEDNA and OrbitMI integration empowers vessel owners, operators, and charter teams to quickly get alerts and other contextual information about ongoing voyages from Orbit fed directly into SEDNA messages and, through a single click, visualize the route inside Orbit dashboards so you can act faster.
Connect to your OrbitMI Orbit instance to retrieve vessel data and display it directly to your end users alongside their email.
How to Connect?
API credentials are required to link Orbit with SEDNA. These will be provisioned at the time of your SEDNA implementation.
Frequently Asked Questions
What Data Can SEDNA access via the real-time API?
SEDNA accesses your OrbitMI instance through a limited, permissions API.
- Vessel Name
- Time Onboard
- Next Port
- Upcoming planned itinerary
- Speed deviation (>±10% deviation from instructed speed, based on Daily report)
- ETA change (ETA for the next port is changed and differs by 6+ hours, based on daily report)

How does this work behind the scenes?
SEDNA accesses your data via a REST API. Orbit returns these API queries with the limited data set via the API response.
