Users can import an email message into Sedna using an .eml file (for example, an email saved from Microsoft Outlook or another email client). When you upload an .eml file, Sedna imports the message details, including recipients in the To, Cc, and Bcc fields, and any attachments.
Import and send an .eml file
1. In the Composer, click the + icon on a new line and select Upload .eml.
2. Select the relevant .eml file from your device.
3. Click Upload to confirm. This will overwrite all fields in the current draft (recipients, subject, body, and attachments).
4. Review and edit the message content, formatting, recipients, attachments, and tags as needed, then send as normal.
Download EML Files
To download an .eml file, open the message and click the download icon in the message viewer. Users need the IT Support role to download messages. More information on roles is available here.
