If you’re experiencing unexpected behaviour in Stream (e.g. missing updates or UI glitches), clearing or reloading your browser’s cache is a good first step in troubleshooting.
Quick Cache Refresh
To reload your browser’s cache without fully clearing it, use the shortcut for your browser and OS:

Clear Cache & Cookies by Browser
Clearing your cache can resolve persistent issues caused by stored data. Below are step-by-step instructions for supported browsers.
Google Chrome
Windows
Open Chrome.
Click the three-dot menu in the top-right.
Or go directly to:chrome://settings/clearBrowserDataSelect Settings.
Select Privacy and security > Delete browsing data.
Set the Time range to All time.
Uncheck:
- Browsing history
Check:
Cookies and other site data
Cached images and files
Click Clear data.
macOS
Open Chrome.
Click the Chrome menu in the top-left.
Select Clear Browsing Data.
Or go directly to:chrome://settings/clearBrowserDataSet the Time range to All time.

Open Firefox.
Click the menu icon (☰) and choose Settings.
Go to Privacy & Security.

Open Safari.
Click Safari in the top-left menu bar.
Select Clear History.
Choose All History, then click Clear History.
Disable Extensions
In Safari, click Safari > Settings > Extensions.
Uncheck or remove unnecessary extensions.

Go to File > New Private Window

Clearing the cache in Edge:
- Open Microsoft Edge.
- Click the three-dot menu icon (•••) in the top-right corner of the browser window.
- Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu.
- In the left sidebar, click on "Privacy, search, and services".
- Under the "Clear browsing data" section, click the "Choose what to clear" button.
- In the "Clear browsing data" window that appears:
- Select the time range for which you want to clear data. To clear your entire cache, choose "All time" from the "Time range" dropdown menu.
- Ensure the "Cached images and files" checkbox is selected.
- Ensure "Cookies and other site data"checkbox is checked.
- Click "Clear now" to confirm and delete the selected data.
Try Incognito or Private Browsing
Using a private window disables most extensions and cached data, which can help isolate issues caused by plugins.
Chrome (Incognito):
