Tip: Sedna's auto-tagger works behind the scenes to apply job tags to messages automatically. If the auto-tagger can't identify the right tag, it won't apply one. This could lead to a missed message if you're not careful. Follow this guide to create a Safety Net search to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
Formulate Your Search
1. Click the "Search for a term, tag, Team, or user" field.
2. Select the 'not' token
3. The search will change to "Add a term to negate" to prompt you to add a token to be excluded from your search
4. Add the 'has:JobTag' token
Tip: Do you use Important to filter your messages? If so, you can add an extra layer of granularity to this search.
5. Click the search bar
6. Add another 'not' token
7. Click back in the search bar
8. Scroll down and select your Important token. This will refine the search so that it lists all messages that do not have a job tag except messages that are Important to you. If a message is Important to you, you'll see it in your Focus search, so it won't slip through the cracks anyway!
Save Your Search
9. Click the 'more options' icon
10. Click "Save this search"
11. Give it a name, such as "No Job Tag" or "Safety Net"
12. Click the tick
Make Your Search Live
13. Click the mechanical cog
14. Find the search you just created and toggle it on
