Introducing Sedna's Priority Inbox, aptly named Important, designed to revolutionise the way you manage your email and communications. Built on three key criteria, Important ensures that you never miss a crucial message again: 1. Subscribe to your jobs 2. Prioritise Key Contacts 3. 1. Click "Important" to view messages marked as Important. A message is classed as Important if:
- It has a job tag you're subscribed to
- It is from a contact you have marked as Important
- You have been tagged on the message
Alert: Archived messages are not classed as Important.
2. Click "Show Filter" to see a breakdown of messages in your Important Inbox by job tag. This will help you manage messages per voyage.
3. The tags are sorted by volume from high to low. Click on a job tag to filter your view to just those tags.
4. Manage messages relating to this voyage as required. Add category tags, comments or reply to messages as you need to, then archive the messages when you're finished.
Tip: When starting your journey with Sedna, one of the biggest behaviour shifts is going from ‘I store all my important emails in the inbox so I don’t lose them’ to the beautiful - and achievable - world of Inbox Zero.
Putting all messages in the Archive once you’re done with them, even if you need to come back another day, makes manual filing a thing of the past. How do we make this achievable?
- Lightning-fast Search: Sedna makes all conversations, attachments and critical information instantly discoverable for the whole team.
- Following: By “Following” a message before Archiving it, you are getting it out of the way - but once activity occurs on that message, it comes right back into your inbox automatically.

5. Remove the job tag from your search once you're done and move on to your next voyages.
Tip: You can create a Saved Search by saving your frequently used searches to access them whenever you need them. With our Live Search feature, you can access real-time insights instantly.
6. To save your Important view, click the "More Information" icon.
7. Click "Save this search"
8. Name the search something meaningful. We recommend 📩 My Important
9. To convert the Saved Search to a Live Search, hover over Saved Searches and click the mechanical cog.
10. Locate the search you want to make Live and toggle the switch on.
11. You now have a personalised view that will update with a number counter whenever a new email arrives in your Important.
