The primary Context Tags are:
{Tag example images}

Categories: Enabling you to provide additional context to messages
Person: People who have the messages marked to their attention
Private: Created and only visible to the user and cannot be shared with other users. |
All Tags can be accessed from the Tags panel in Context.
Jobs
This is is the overarching reference that would tag the message to a project. A Job tag is typically made up of parts including an Asset and a Reference, i.e. “Vessel Name + Voyage Number” or “Project Name + Project Reference”.
For example, an Operator would want to associate their messages to a Voyage. SEDNA integrates with their Voyage Management System IMOS and this pushes the Voyage reference to SEDNA as a Job tag. SEDNA will then attempt to automatically Tag any new messages.
Where a message is not automatically tagged select Add Job to manually applying or correct an auto tag error.
The Asset tag automatically becomes it’s own search tag that can be used to view all messages associated with the Asset.
Important Jobs
Some Jobs are more Important than others. If there’s a Job you want to receive all messages for next to the Job is an option to mark Important. When selected all messages with this reference will be available in your Important view from the sidebar.
For any auto-tagging queries please refer these to your System Administrator in the first instance.
Categories
To give extra Context to a message a Catgory tag may be applied. Category Tags are created and managed by your System Administrator.
For example you may have a message tagged with a job however the message content is about a particular Trade Route or Invoicing, if there’s a corresponding tag available this additional context can be applied to the message making the message searchable by this Category.
Please note: If your team does not have access to a certain category tag and it is applied to a message which you have access to you will see it applied in the message list but it will not show in the Context panel.
Pin Categories
You may have a lot of Categories in your list. For quick access to your most commonly used Categories, hover over an applied Category and select Pin. Pinned Categories will now display in Suggestions ready for faster tagging.
Auto-Tag Categories (Pro and Enterprise Only)
It is possible to save time by auto-tagging replies you receive with the same category tags from the previous message in that thread. This auto-tagger can be applied to individual teams and run in parallel with an existing Job Reference auto-tagger.
To enable this please speak to you System Administrator.
Followers
These are the people in your organization. You can tag someone as a Follower to bring this to their attention. Followed messages can be easily viewed from the Following sidebar.
Follower tags can be applied from Context or you can @mention someone to add them as a Follower.
You can tag yourself as a Follower of a message by selecting Follow on a message too.
Private Tags
Private Tags are represented in yellow, making them easily distinguishable from other tag types.
➕: Private Tags are only visible to you and cannot be shared with other users.
➕: Users have the ability to create, pin, edit, archive and delete Private tags themselves.
You do not need IT Admin and Superusers access, unlike the other types of Tags.
