Overview
Pulse now supports additional units of measure for cargo quantities, providing greater flexibility for users who work with varying cargo types. Previously, only Metric Tonnes (MT) were available, but now you can add the following units to your view:
- Cubic Meters (CBM)
- Units
- TEU (Twenty-foot Equivalent Unit)
- FEU (Forty-foot Equivalent Unit)
How to Add More Units of Measure to Your Pulse View
Follow these steps to customise your Pulse view with your preferred unit of measure:
- Navigate to Cargo Preferences
- Click on Cargo section in the side panel
- Click on Preferences to access customisation options.
- Add Your Preferred Metric Type
- Locate the hidden columns section under column display.
- Drag your preferred unit of measure (CBM, Units, TEU, FEU) into your active view.
Once added, these units will be available for viewing and filtering, allowing for a more tailored experience when managing different cargo types.
Note: If the unit of measure is parsed by your parsing provider, it will automatically display in the columns.
Choosing and Displaying Different Unit Types
When manually adding a cargo, you can choose your unit type, and you can add multiple rows with different unit types. For example, one row can be in Metric Tonnes (MT) while another can be in Cubic Meters (CBM). These will display in your customised columns accordingly. Don't forget to add these columns to your Pulse view to see them!
