In Sedna, you can sort messages in a multitude of ways, including by time or priority. In this article, you will learn how to take advantage of the sort options within Sedna.
You can sort messages in Sedna by date or by priority.
The option to sort your messages can be found at the top right of your message list.
The default setting is Sort: Newest - to sort by date: newest to oldest, but you can toggle to other options including Sort: Oldest or Sort: Priority.
When navigating within Sedna to different message list views, your 'Sort:' setting will be preserved until you toggle to a new 'Sort:' setting. For example, if you are in a Team Inbox with Sort: Priority and move into Important, you will see your messages in Important also sorted by Priority.
Sort by Date (Time)
You can sort messages on the list by ascending or descending order according to time.
Note: The default setting is Sort: Newest - to have the newest messages on top.

Sort by Priority
The message list can be sorted by Priority (most recent activity) on the messages.

Note: The activities that will bump a message to the top of the Message List when sorting by Priority include:
- Reply Drafted
- Message Assigned
- Message Shared
- Message Received
- New Comment
