What is Your Important?
Your Important is a search token in Stream that provides a customisable focused view of messages in the Inbox that you consider Important to you.
Your Important contains 3 main things:
Job Tags | Messages tagged with Job Tags you have marked as Important |
Contacts | Messages from, to and cc Contacts that you mark as Important |
Following | Messages that are tagged to you |
Stream should also link with your System of Record to automate the Marking of Important of Job Tags for the user responsible for it in addition to your manual customisation.
There are a number of configurations that can be leveraged using Important. You can find further information on these on this article.
Think of Important as your own personal assistant, or the trusty telex operator back in the day.
You inform them what is important to you at that time and they serve up all the messages to you in one place so that you can focus on your work.
This is similar with Sedna, we just automate it!
Where is my Important?
Clicking the “Important” button in the Sidebar will run a search that contains your Important search token.
You can also search for your own or your Colleagues Important token by using the search bar.
Your own Important token is at the bottom of the default list.
Type you colleagues name and scroll to the bottom to find theirs!
Remember: you are looking at a view of their Important so if they've archived messages it will not show.
